Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has revealed that he is enjoying his stay in the Spanish capital and has no intention of leaving the European champions, news which will disappoint Manchester United.

Bale enjoyed great success with Real Madrid in his inaugural season as he scored 22 goals and assisted a further 19 in all competitions to help Carlo Ancelotti’s team collect four trophies in 2014, including the club's tenth European Cup.

The Wales international has continued his form from last season and has scored 14 goals and assisted seven thus far, as Real Madrid sit atop La Liga and have comfortably qualified for Champions League round of 16.

Bale, who arrived at Real Madrid from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur for a world record fee in the summer of 2013, has been linked with a move back to England. Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United have reportedly showed interest in prising away the Welshman.

In a radio interview with Spanish radio sports programme El Larguero, he quashed rumours of a possible move to England and insisted that he is happy with his current employers.

“I did an interview recently and I said I’m happy here.

“I’ve got several years left on my contract and I’m having a good time. We’re winning trophies and I want to stay here”, he explained.

On the question of differences in the style of football played in the two countries, Bale acknowledged they are not the same, but he is enjoying his Spanish sojourn.

“I’m not too sure to be honest. Its different football from in England, I’m just enjoying this new experience, a different culture. And just getting used to it and enjoying it”, he concluded.

Real Madrid play Real Sociedad on Saturday and Bale will look to help them grab all three points as they bid to maintain pole position in La Liga.
