Manchester United have submitted a bid of around €29m and have offered to send Adnan Januzaj on loan to Fiorentina for the services of Juan Cuadrado, according to Florence-based news outlet Firenze Viola.

It emerged earlier today that Manchester United are ready to rekindle their interest in the Colombian winger and rival Chelsea for his signature this month.

It was speculated that the Red Devils are prepared to make Januzaj part of the negotiations to tempt Fiorentina into selling the 26-year-old in the winter transfer window.

And it is emerging that Manchester United have actually played their hand in the Cuadrado transfer saga by offering around €29m for the winger.

The Red Devils have also offered to send Januzaj on loan to the Stadio Artemio Franchi until the summer of 2016 to sweeten the deal for Fiorentina.

However, La Viola are expected to resist the temptation and are digging in their heels for Cuadrado until someone pay his full release clause of €35m, confident unless they do then the winger will stay put until at least the summer, which coach Vincenzo Montella would prefer.

Fiorentina are concerned that they won’t be able to find an adequate replacement for the Colombian if they sell him this late in the window.
