Former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye is looking to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, with Manchester United and Arsenal interested in his services.

A year since his arrival at the Parc des Princes, the French international is still trying to find his feet at the club and has failed to nail down a starting spot in Laurent Blanc’s side.

Though he wants to play more first team football, Cabaye decided against seeking a transfer this month and wants to end this season at PSG.

However, with Euro 2016 around the corner, the midfielder is not ready to risk his involvement with the French national team and according to L’Equipe, will ask the club to sanction his sale in the summer.

With his salary and the fee that PSG might ask for him, the French midfielder could well be heading back to the Premier League, with Manchester United and Arsenal interested in signing him.

Both clubs are believed to be looking for one more creative option in the summer and Cabaye’s experience of playing in the Premier League is a very attractive proposition for the English duo.

The 29-year-old made 79 Premier League appearances for Newcastle before leaving for PSG in January last year.
