Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing a deal for Monaco left-back Layvin Kurzawa, who has been linked with Louis van Gaal's Manchester United and Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, in the summer.

The French champions are already planning for next season and have realised that they need to strengthen their full-back position at the end of the term.

Maxwell’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and Laurent Blanc is not too enthralled by the performances of Lucas Digne at left-back.

Therefore, PSG are scouring the market for a full-back and according to French sports daily L’Equipe, they have zeroed in on Monaco’s France international Kurzawa.

The young Frenchman has been in impressive form for Monaco this season and his experience of playing in Ligue 1 is also one of the key reasons PSG are interested in signing him.

However, interest from England, especially from Manchester United and Arsenal, is one of the major hurdles for PSG in their quest to sign the young Frenchman.

The Parisians are ready to make Digne part of a deal to see off interest from England and tempt Monaco into sanctioning Kurzawa’s sale in the summer.

The 22-year-old recently recovered from a thigh muscle strain and has made 18 appearances for Monaco this season.
