Super agent Mino Raiola has insisted that Mario Balotelli will only leave Liverpool for a transfer fee of around €60m to €70m, backing him to become a world star.

Since his switch to Liverpool from AC Milan last summer, the mercurial Italian striker has found it hard to settle at Anfield.

He is yet to score a goal in the league this season and has not started a Premier League game for the Reds since the start of November.

Scoring just twice this term, Balotelli has been a source of frustration for the club on and off the pitch and there is speculation that Brendan Rodgers is ready to offload him if a suitable offer comes along, either this month or in the summer.

Raiola has been maintaining that his client won’t be leaving Liverpool this month and revealed he also told Balotelli he would be staying put on Monday, predicting that when he does leave Liverpool it will be for big, big money.

The Italian quipped that he will contemplate moving the 24-year-old to a new team in the future if Liverpool receive a bid of around €60m-€70m.

"I saw him on Monday and told him: 'You have a four-year contract and I will not send you away”, Raiola told Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Or you leave Liverpool at €60m-€70m, and I win my bet, or you will die there'.

"It's the first time I have made a speech like that to a player.”
