Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton feels his side should not be worried about the nature of the opposition if they want to win a cup competition.

The Bhoys host their Old Firm rivals Rangers in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on Sunday and the midfielder hopes that his team can cope with the additional pressure of playing a derby game and make their way to the final of the tournament.

The 23-year-old feels that for a club like Celtic, winning silverware is what matters the most and therefore they should give it their best shot to win the match against their rivals.

The game is set to be Bitton's first experience of the Old Firm rivalry and he hopes to make full use of the time in between to prepare for the match and give it his best shot.

"I’ve heard that this is a special game, and we’ve got a few days to prepare for it", Bitton told his club's official site.
