Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela believes there are no weak opponents in the Premier League as Spurs prepare to face West Bromwich Albion in their next league fixture tomorrow.

Lamela arrived at Tottenham in the summer of 2013 from Roma, but an injury marred inaugural season in England saw him make only 17 appearances in all competitions.

The Argentine has enjoyed a fruitful current campaign and has made 19 league appearances so far in which he has scored one goal and assisted a further four.

The 22-year-old has missed Spurs' last three league games due to a calf injury, but has since recovered and is set to start against Tony Pulis’ side.

West Brom defeated the north Londoners 1-0 in the reverse fixture at White Hart Lane back in September courtesy of a James Morrison header. And the Argentine says that they are expecting another difficult fixture at the Hawthorns.

“All games are difficult so we need to continue to work hard at West Brom”, Lamela told the club site.

“We lost to them at home before, but now we are playing better and we know we can win away.”

Lamela expressed his happiness after returning to full fitness in their League Cup semi-final second leg 2-2 draw against Sheffield United on Wednesday, which saw Spurs progress to the final at Wembley.

“For me, I am happy that I played again on Wednesday as I am still recovering my full fitness.

"It’s a big thing to get to Wembley and I’m excited that we are in the final of the Capital One Cup as we would like to win something this year.

“We need to continue now in the Premier League, to be aggressive and always look to improve”, he concluded.
