Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp believes that Marco Reus will not quit the club in the summer, despite a release clause in his contract becoming active.

Reus is of interest to a whole host of clubs, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United. Borussia Dortmund's domestic rivals Bayern Munich have also been tipped to continue their policy of weakening the Ruhr giants by launching a summer move.

Borussia Dortmund's attempts to have Reus' clause removed have so far failed. But Klopp does not believe the midfielder will take advantage of it to leave.

Indeed, speaking to German daily Die Welt, he stressed the entire squad's loyalty, while addressing Reus in particular.

"The boys are 100 per cent here, and I have a positive feeling that the player we are talking about will stay a bit longer", Klopp said.

Reus is currently in the thick of a relegation battle with Borussia Dortmund, who sit second bottom in the Bundesliga at present.

Klopp's men lost ten times in their opening 17 Bundesliga games and look all but certain to not be able to offer their star players Champions League football next season.
