Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is playing his cards close to his chest as transfer deadline day approaches.

Spurs, who earlier this week booked their spot in the League Cup final, have been linked with a number of players, however one of their targets, Mattia Destro, has just joined AC Milan.

Pochettino claims to be happy with the squad at his disposal, but is not willing to completely rule out the possibility of anything developing before the window slams shut.

He was quoted as saying by the BBC: "I am really happy with my squad.

"I think there is not many movements happening.

"I believe there will not be too many activities, but in football you never know", the Argentine manager added.

Pochettino has taken a more concrete line on striker Harry Kane however, vowing that he will not leave White Hart Lane and insisting that Spurs fans should waste no time even considering the possibility.

"There's no doubt his future is at Tottenham. I'm not worried about that and the supporters don't need to worry about that", the Spurs boss concluded.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs are active before the transfer window closes, but several players have been linked with leaving White Hart Lane, including QPR and Hull target Aaron Lennon and Roma chased Vlad Chiriches.
