Despite being at the bottom of the Premier League table, Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson is confident of getting a result at Manchester United later today.

The Foxes produced one of the shock results of the season, when they came from 3-1 down to beat Manchester United 5-3 at home in September last year, leaving Louis van Gaal's men reeling.

However, the result turned out to be only one of four wins in the campaign for Leicester so far and at a crucial point in the season they are desperately trying to preserve their top flight status.

Despite being 20th in the league table, Pearson feels Leicester have given a good account of themselves in the Premier League this season with his players still trying to adapt to playing at the top level.

"I do think we've had a lot of very good performances this year”, Pearson said in a press conference.
