PSV Eindhoven full-back Santiago Arias would love to move to play his football in England or Germany, despite being under contract at the Philips Stadion until 2019.

The Colombia international is highly rated by PSV and has made great strides at the club since joining from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon in 2013.

Arias admitted just months ago that a move to Arsenal would be perfect for him, sending a come-and-get-me plea to the Gunners.

And now he has reiterated his desire to play in a more competitive league, with England and Germany in his sights.

The defender told De Telegraaf: "I'm certainly at a great club and I'm very happy.

"I hope to play here for a long time, though I am certainly open to the possibility that might arise in the future to play in England, for example, or Germany."

Arias is currently on target to help PSV end their Dutch league title drought this term, with the club sitting a substantial 12 points clear of second place Ajax, who have won the Eredivisie for the last four consecutive seasons.

PSV have not won the Eredivisie title since the 2007/08 season.

Arias has played in 19 of PSV's 22 Eredivisie games to date this term, scoring one goal and providing one assist for his team-mates.
