Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair is optimistic about his team's chances of winning the FA Cup this year.

The Villans registered a 2-1 win against Leicester City in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday as their new manager Tim Sherwood looked on from the stands. They have drawn West Brom in the quarter-finals.

And now that they have entered the quarter-finals of the tournament and are set to take on Tony Pulis' side, Sinclair feels that it is that stage of the tournament when anything is possible.

The Manchester City loanee also revealed that the quarter-finals are the stage of any tournament when all the teams start believing that they can be possible winners.

"It is getting to that stage where any team can beat anyone on any given day", Sinclair was quoted as saying by ITV.

"All the teams that are left will be thinking they've got a chance to get to the final."

For the team that are currently fighting relegation in the league and are winless in their last five Premier League matches, the FA Cup win could be the instigator for them to start off a good spell and Sinclair hopes that they can win it to bring some cheer back to the players and the fans.

The Claret and Blues will play Stoke City next in the Premier League next Saturday.
