Inter Milan have drawn first blood in the race to sign Brazilian Under-20 international and Manchester United-linked Fluminense attacker Kenedy with a bid of around €7m plus bonuses.

Long being tracked by Inter’s city rivals AC Milan, Kenedy has caught the attention of some of the top clubs in Europe, including Manchester United, with his showing for Brazil in the recently concluded South America Under-20 Championship in Uruguay.




A versatile forward, who can also play on both flanks, he has already made 30 senior appearances for Fluminense at the tender age of 19 and it emerged yesterday that Inter are interested in signing the youngster.

And the Nerazzurri have decided to act on their interest and according to Sportitalia, and they have already lodged a bid of around €7m plus performance based bonuses with Fluminense for Kenedy.
 


But Fluminense have a reputation for being tough negotiators and are believed to have slapped an asking price of €10m on the Brazilian Under-20 international.

With Manchester United already interested in the forward, Inter are aware that they need to quickly agree a deal with Fluminense before the English giants decide to flex their financial muscle for Kenedy.
