Manchester City and Manchester United have entered the race to secure the signature of FC Porto right-back and Real Madrid target Danilo.

The Brazilian full-being has been on Real Madrid’s radar for some time and club president Florentino Perez has identified Danilo as one of their priority signings for the summer.

It has been speculated that Barcelona are also after his signature and Neymar has been trying to convince his close friend to wait until 2016 to move, when the transfer ban over the Catalan giants will be lifted.

However, the news for Real Madrid is not getting better and according to Madrid-based daily Marca, Manchester United and Manchester City have also set their vying eyes on the Brazilian international.

With Pablo Zabaleta’s advancing years, Manchester City are looking for a replacement for him and Louis van Gaal remains unimpressed by the form and injury problems of Rafael at Old Trafford.
