Former Barcelona full-back Eric Abidal has revealed that Lionel Messi might decide to leave the Nou Camp and said that a club such as Paris Saint-Germain could be a tempting option for the Argentine superstar.

Rumours of Messi being disillusioned with life at Barcelona under Luis Enrique were doing the rounds earlier this year and there was speculation that he might be open to leaving the club.

However, a good run of form seems to have dissipated the speculation and though a few Barcelona players have accepted that Enrique and Messi did collide, everything is believed to be calm between the player and the manager now.

The Barcelona hierarchy also came out in full force and denied speculation that the Argentina national team captain is looking to leave. The club are confident that his long term future is with the Catalan giants.

However, Abidal thinks otherwise and believes that after winning everything with Barcelona, Messi might be up for a new challenge. He feels an ambitious club such as PSG could tempt the Argentine to leave Spain in the near future.
