Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel has backed Brendan Rodgers’ men to get the job done against Besiktas tonight, but warned his former side about the dangerous Demba Ba.

The Reds won the first leg at Anfield 1-0 and are aware that a clean sheet at the Ataturk Stadium tonight in the second leg would be enough for them to make it to the last 16 of the Europa League.

Rodgers’ men have been playing well away from home lately and Babel, who currently plays for Turkish outfit Kasimpasa, believes the Reds have enough about them to get a positive result at Besiktas tonight.

However, the Dutchman asked Liverpool to remain wary about Ba, who had a shot saved by Simon Mignolet in the first leg, and said that if the striker is available for selection, he might cause a few issues for the Reds.

“I think Liverpool have a good chance for the second leg”, Babel told the club’s official site.

“They have a lead, which means Besiktas have to attack.

"Demba Ba didn't play in their last game because he had an injury, but if he's playing, Liverpool will need to keep an eye on him. He in general makes the most impact for Besiktas up front.

“But overall, Liverpool should have the confidence to win the game."

The Senegalese missed their last league game with an injury, but Besiktas boss Slaven Bilic is hopeful that he will have the talismanic striker back in the squad for tonight’s crucial game as they bid to shoot down Liverpool.
