Manchester United-linked former Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has not ruled out a transfer away from Wolfsburg to a big club in the near future.

After a disappointing stint in English football with Chelsea, the Belgian has established himself as one of the most consistent performers in the Bundesliga and has been attracting attention with his exploits with Wolfsburg.

Scoring eleven goals and providing 16 assists in all competitions this season, the 23-year-old is keeping the top clubs across Europe interested in him and Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is believed to be keen to add his creative talents to his squad at Old Trafford this summer.

While De Bruyne admits that he is happy at Wolfsburg, the Belgian has refused to rule out a transfer away from the Volkswagen Arena in the near future, preferably to a top club in Europe.

“I feel at home at Wolfsburg”, De Bruyne told Sport Bild.

“But things can change very quickly in football”, the Belgian added.

“It is clear Wolfsburg are still behind Bayern Munich in Germany and my ultimate ambition is to play for a top European club, with whom I can win trophies.”

The midfielder has also earned 24 international caps for Belgium and has scored nine goals for his country. It remains to be seen whether he will be on the move in the summer transfer window.
