Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane believes that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have enough firepower in their ranks to snatch a victory tonight against Fiorentina.

The north London outfit head to the Stadio Artemio Franchi for the second leg of their round of 32 tie against Fiorentina on the back of a 1-1 draw in the first leg at White Hart Lane last week. La Viola’s away goal puts them in an advantageous position in the tie.

And that places the onus on Pochettino’s side to overturn the away goals deficit and seal their passage to the round of 16 of the tournament.

Having scored 41 goals in the Premier League so far, the fifth best in the league, Kane feels that Spurs have no dearth of attacking firepower and that they can score more than Vincenzo Montella’s side to win the tie.

Kane has been at the forefront of the Lilywhites attack and has scored 24 goals in all competitions so far, in what is turning out to be a breakout season for the Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate.

“Fiorentina have got the away goal so we’re going to have to go out and score, but with the players we’ve got in this team we should be able to do that”, Kane told the club site.

He further added that had the hosts not been so wasteful in the first leg, they might as well be travelling to Italy with a substantial lead. But he admitted that goals aren’t easy to come by in Europe and is wary of the hosts troubling the visitors again tonight.

“In last week’s game at White Hart Lane we should have been 3-0 up in the first half, but obviously the Europa League is a tough competition and they made us pay on the night by getting a goal back and getting the draw.

“That said, there’s no reason why we can’t get some goals away from home and hopefully get the win.

“We’re all looking forward to the game – we want to go far in this competition and it should be a good second leg.”
