West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has stressed that his players need to be at their best to get a result against Chelsea tomorrow as Jose Mourinho’s men rarely put a foot wrong.

Chelsea are expected to be in a confident mood when they arrive at Upton Park tomorrow evening after their League Cup success on Sunday and will have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table over Manchester City by eight points.

On the other hand West Ham will be looking to bounce back from a demoralising 3-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace last weekend to get their season back on track.

With eleven league games left in the season, Chelsea are the favourites to win the league title and Allardyce knows exactly why Mourinho’s men are being backed to land the big prize.

The West Ham boss stressed that the current Chelsea team rarely make a mistake or take their foot off the peddle, which explains their big lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Allardyce admits that his side need to be right on the money to have any hope of getting a positive result against Mourinho’s men tomorrow.

“Jose's teams rarely slip up and that's why they're so good”, Allardyce said in a press conference.

“The demand from Chelsea Football Club to the players is that they're not allowed to be off form.

"I expect them to be efficient in every department and that's why they're top of the league.

"They rarely make mistakes and that makes it difficult to score against them.

"For me it's about the players playing their best and hopefully on the day that can help us get the result."
