Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admits that he will demand "huge money" for goalkeeper Petr Cech, if he wishes to move on from Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Mourinho named Cech between the sticks for Sunday's League Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur, with the Czech custodian in good form as the Blues put Spurs to the sword to pick up the English season's first major piece of silverware.

However, Cech is second choice behind Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge for Premier League and Champions League matches and has been linked with moving elsewhere. Indeed, both Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with the former Rennes custodian at points over the last 12 months.

Mourinho admits he is waiting for Cech to tell him whether he wants to move on in the summer or remain at the club he joined in 2004. But whatever Cech decides, Mourinho is clear that he will not spend time trying to change the goalkeeper's mind if it is made up.

He will though ask for big money to sell the Czech Republic international if he wants to leave.

Mourinho told a press conference: "I don't think Petr is a guy to be persuaded.

"I think he will make his decision and when he makes it I think he is very mature to make what he feels is the best decision for his future.

"I will just wait, wishing that his decision is to stay.

"That is my desire. I would like him very much to stay.

"But I won't spend my time trying to persuade him. It will be his decision.

"If he tells me he wants to leave, I will tell him my opinion. [That is that] he is one of the top three goalkeepers in the world, [so] huge money."
