Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits he may have to adopt a careful approach when it comes to easing Aaron Ramsey back into the side.

Ramsey is once again available for selection for Wenger after shaking off a muscular injury, meaning the Arsenal manager could deploy him this evening against QPR at Loftus Road.

But the Gunners boss is cautious given the nature of Ramsey's injury and has not yet decided whether the game against QPR has come too early for the Wales international.

The Arsenal boss mused to his club's site: "It’s good to have Aaron back too, but [whether] it is too early or not I don’t know.

"He had a few muscular injuries, so I will [have to] see who I rest and who I change, but it’s good to have his energy back in the team", Wenger added.

Arsenal will also be able to call upon Francis Coquelin for tonight's game, despite the midfielder suffering a broken nose against Everton at the weekend.

And Wenger believes that Coquelin does a vital job in an Arsenal side whose instinct is to attack at all times.

"Francis is important because he gives us balance in the team", Wenger explained.

"We are a very offensive team and he does a defensive job.

"He has great resilience and a great determination and the balance of the team sometimes depends on one player, and in that area he could be the player."

The Gunners head into this evening's clash sitting in third place in the Premier League standings.
