Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has put Chelsea striker Loic Remy at the top of his wanted list for the summer transfer window, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

Pardew worked with Remy when in charge of Newcastle United; the French striker was loaned to the Magpies when his then-club QPR were relegated from the Premier League and forced to spend a season in the Championship.

He continues to rate the former Marseille man highly and is desperate for Remy to lead the line at Selhurst Park next term.

Remy is playing second fiddle to Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge, but it remains to be seen if he is open to leaving Chelsea in the summer or even if the Blues are willing to entertain an offer from the Eagles.

The 28-year-old, who joined Chelsea last summer from QPR, has made 15 appearances for the Blues in the Premier League this term, scoring three goals.

He has seen just 61 minutes of action in Chelsea's Champions League campaign so far, although has managed to find the back of the net once in the process.

Remy's contract with Jose Mourinho's men runs until the summer of 2018.
