Daley Blind has urged Manchester United to pay no attention to their rivals for a top four spot in the Premier League and instead focus firmly on themselves.

The Red Devils managed to grab a 1-0 win away at Newcastle United last night, scoring via a last-minute Ashley Young goal to down the Magpies at St. James' Park.

As the minutes ticked down, Manchester United were aware that top four rivals Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur were all also on course to win their games, which they eventually did.

The pressure is mounting as the Premier League games to be played dwindles. But Blind, while admitting he was well aware of his side's rivals winning their matches, feels the focus needs to be kept purely in-house on the part of the Old Trafford outfit.

"I heard about the wins for the others but it's important to watch out for ourselves", he told his club's site.

"We must keep winning our own games.

"We look at ourselves and it doesn't matter what other teams think about us", the Dutchman added.

Manchester United next take a break from Premier League action with a visit from Arsenal on Monday night in an FA Cup quarter-final tie.

Arsene Wenger's men are the competition holders.
