Borussia Dortmund have entered the race to sign Manchester United and Liverpool linked Paraguayan Under-20 striker Sergio Diaz, with Jurgen Klopp keen to scoop up the starlet.

The 16-year-old has been generating huge excitement with his performances on the South American youth circuit and is considered as one of the greatest talents of his generation.

His performances in the recently concluded South American Under-20 Championship for Paraguay have attracted the attention of the English duo of Manchester United and Liverpool.

Both clubs had scouts running the rule over him during the tournament in Uruguay and they are now actively trying to take the youngster to England in the summer.

However, according to Sky Italia, they will have competition in the form of Borussia Dortmund, who also took a closer look at Diaz during the Under-20 tournament and were impressed enough to ponder making a move for him at the end of the season.
