Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana believes that the club's summer signings have found their feet by now, which has helped the Reds in their climb up the league table.

Brendan Rodgers spent over a £100m in the summer on new signings. Alberto Moreno, Lazar Markovic, Emre Can, Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana were some of the new faces that graced Anfield at the start of the season as the manager attempted to shore up his side and counter the departure of Luis Suarez in the summer.

The Reds struggled in the early part of the season as they looked to find the right balance in the team and were lying mid-table for large parts in the first half of the season.

Liverpool’s fortunes have been completely transformed since December and they have the best record in the Premier League since the turn of the year having collected 23 points from their nine games this year, more than any of their rivals.

Their spectacular run of form has seen them move to fifth in the Premier League as they look to continue their presence in the Champions League with a top four finish this season.

And Lallana acknowledges that his team have found a great rhythm and their consistent form is a consequence.

“We have a great rhythm and a good bit of consistency and are keeping clean sheets as well”, Lallana told the club site.

“We've turned a corner since Christmas and we are really looking good.”

The midfielder admitted that it took a long time to integrate the newcomers into the side and having taken their time to bed-in at their new team, the summer arrivals have started showing their potential. And Daniel Sturridge’s return to full fitness has been another positive development for the Reds.

“It was a difficult start, but all the signings have bedded in now and we have players back fit and we have found a system, we are playing really well and are causing teams problems.

“Confidence is a big thing in any team and we have that in abundance and I think it is showing.”
