Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to pay Malaga’s asking price for midfielder Ignacio Camacho, who is also attracting interest from Inter Milan and Napoli.

Schooled at Atletico Madrid’s youth academy, the Spaniard joined Malaga in January 2011 and has quickly established himself as one of the key players in Javi Gracia's squad at La Rosaleda Stadium.

Making 23 appearances in all competitions this season, the defensive midfielder has been in fine form for Malaga and has attracted interest from clubs across Europe.

The Italian duo of Inter and Napoli have been tracking his performances in Spain, but are believed to have been put off by Malaga’s more than €20m asking price for the 24-year-old Spaniard.

However, Tottenham have now registered their interest in the defensive midfielder and according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, the club are prepared to meet the Spanish outfit’s asking price for Camacho.
