Inter are keen to sign Bayern Munich's second choice goalkeeper Pepe Reina in the summer, a man who is also a target for Napoli.

The Spaniard joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool last summer, but his transfer to Bavaria hasn’t exactly turned out be the way he planned.

Though he suffered a serious injury in the middle of the season, Reina has been largely fit but has yet to play a single minute of competitive football for the German champions this term.

He is a constant feature on the Bayern Munich bench as the understudy to Ballon d’Or nominee Manuel Neuer and it is believed the Spaniard is finally losing patience with the club hierarchy.

Reina is believed to be frustrated with life under Pep Guardiola and is keen to leave the club in the summer transfer window to restart his career at another club.

According to Tuttosport, Inter, who are believed to be ready to offload Samir Handanovic in the summer, have zeroed in on Reina as the man to replace the Slovenian shot stopper at the San Siro.

Mancini is looking for a solid custodian and feels the 32-year-old would provide him a strong base on which he is looking to build an Inter team capable of challenging for the top honours in Italy again.

Napoli, where Reina spent the 2013/14 season on loan, are also keen to see him come back at the Stadio San Paolo and are ready to give Inter competition for his signature.
