Lille striker Divock Origi, who is scheduled to join Liverpool in the summer, admits he is going through a tough time at present at the Ligue 1 club.

Liverpool did a deal with Lille for Origi last summer, following the Belgian's positive showing at the World Cup in Brazil, however as part of the agreement he has spent this season on loan at Lille.

The campaign has not gone as planned for the 19-year-old so far, with only three goals in 23 Ligue 1 appearances to his name. And Origi has also come in for criticism from some of the club's supporters.

However, Origi is not prepared to dwell on his poor period and believes that such dips in form are simply part and parcel of the game.

"I'm struggling to get out of this difficult period", acknowledged Origi to to La Voix du Nord.

"I am not dwelling on it as I think that it's part of football.

"There are always critics.

"Everyone has the right to say what they think.

"When things go wrong, we are criticised, and when it goes well, you get lots of compliments."

In total Origi has made 33 appearances in all competitions for Lille this season, but has only managed to find the back of the net on four occasions.

Lille, despite winning last weekend, are enduring a lacklustre season in Ligue 1 and currently sit just eighth, having lost ten of their 28 games so far.
