Tottenham Hotspur target and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot’s mother has resumed contact with Juventus over a potential summer move for her son.

Veronique Rabiot, the player’s mother, who also acts as his agent, shares a cold relationship with the PSG hierarchy and has been trying to find a way out of the club for her son since last year.

On Adrien’s behalf, Veronique was claimed to have worked on personal terms for her son with Tottenham earlier in the season before the player agreed a new long-term contract with the French champions.

While he is receiving considerable game time under Laurent Blanc now, it is believed she is still trying to engineer a move away for her son from PSG in the summer and according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Veronique has again resumed talks with Juventus.

The Italian champions were keen to sign him before he signed a new deal with PSG and are ready to step up on their interest to take him to Turin at the end of the season.

However, the deal is expected to be complicated as PSG are ready to slap a hefty asking price on Rabiot to push him out of the Bianconeri’s financial reach.

However, it has been claimed that Tottenham, who are still trying to get a deal done for him, have financial muscle and are ready to pay the price that the French champions are asking to take Rabiot to England this summer.

Veronique is expected to play a major role in his son’s decision and Rabiot’s suitors believe that convincing her is the key to the transfer deadlock.
