Former Manchester United and West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison is set to arrive in Italy today to start training with Lazio.

Morrison terminated his contract with West Ham earlier this year and agreed a deal to join Lazio. As he has already played for two different clubs this season, the Englishman won’t be able to join the club officially until the summer.

Once a highly-rated prospect at Manchester United, Morrison’s time in England was plagued by off field controversies, both at Old Trafford and Upton Park and both clubs decided that they could do without him in their squad.

Morrison will be hoping to reboot his career in Rome with Lazio and according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, the youngster is expected to arrive in the Italian capital later today.

Though he will not feature for the club until next season, Morrison will train with the team for the rest of the current campaign and in the next few months get used to the ways of Lazio.
