Monaco-linked Bayern Munich defender Dante has insisted that he doesn’t see himself playing in Russia despite interest from Zenit St. Petersburg.

Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer stressed earlier this week that under no circumstances will Dante leave the club at the end of the season, pointing out his importance in the dressing room.

Despite the club sporting director’s insistence, interest in the Brazilian defender has refused to die down and Zenit St. Petersburg have now enlisted their name on the list of Dante’s suitors.

Zenit boss Andre Villas-Boas wants to bring the Brazilian international to the Petrovsky Stadium this summer according to German magazine Sport Bild, but Dante is not keen to move.

The Brazilian revealed that he is not feeling any pressure about his future at Bayern Munich and said that he is not interested in playing in Russia.
