Liverpool and Newcastle United target and Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew is being closely followed by Inter Milan.

The 25-year-old’s contract with the Ligue 1 outfit runs out at the end of the season and he is currently assessing his options, with a switch away from the Stade Velodrome looking increasingly likely as the summer transfer window draws closer.

The Ghanaian international is not short of suitors and clubs from England such as Newcastle United, Liverpool and Everton have already registered their interest in the midfielder.

However, English clubs are going to face stiff competition from Inter Milan, who have been tracking the midfielder’s performances in France and they believe he will be a good addition to their squad for next season on a free transfer.

According to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, Inter officials are set to meet Ayew’s father next week to discuss a potential deal that will see his son wear Nerazzurri colours next term.

While the midfielder is also generating interest from Borussia Dortmund, Inter are currently doing all the leg work to sign the Marseille midfielder on a free transfer this summer.

Ayew has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season at Marseille and has also earned 63 international caps for Ghana.
