Juventus officials are set to meet Harry Kane’s representatives on the sidelines of England’s friendly match against Italy in Turin on Tuesday to discuss a potential switch to the Bianconeri in the summer.

The man who has scored 29 goals this season in all competitions this term was not even a regular starter for Tottenham during the early part of the campaign and only his weight of performances forced Mauricio Pochettino to give Kane his first league start this season against Stoke in November.

The 21-year-old’s emergence as one of the top marksman of European football this season hasn’t gone unnoticed and a number of top clubs have been keeping a close eye on the striker, who is expected to make his England debut against Lithuania this Friday.

Juventus are one of the clubs who have been enamoured by the Tottenham forward’s performances and now they are looking to do the groundwork for an eventual summer move for Kane.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Juventus are set to watch Kane in action in Turin against Italy on Tuesday and also hold talks with his representatives over a potential summer swoop.

However, the Italian champions are aware that any deal for Kane would be met with tough resistance from Tottenham. Kane recently signed a new long-term contract with the club and Spurs want the player to be a big part of their future.

With Tottenham expected to be reluctant, the Bianconeri are first trying to convince Kane and his representatives about a move to the Juventus Stadium before placing an official offer on Spurs’ table.

However, even if Tottenham agree to sell Kane, their asking price for the forward might be beyond Juventus’ financial means.
