Inter Milan have decided to enter the race for the signature of Arsenal-linked Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir.

Fekir recently ignored his native Algeria to pledge his allegiance to the French national team and has earned a place in Didier Deschamps’ squad for the country's international friendlies against Brazil and Denmark.

Lyon are involved in a titanic tussle with PSG for the French league title this season and Fekir’s eleven goals and ten assists have played a huge role in them still challenging the French champions.

His performances at the Stade de Gerland have not gone unnoticed and it has been speculated that top clubs such as Arsenal have been keeping a close eye on the French playmaker with an eye on a move for him this summer.

However, Inter Milan have added their name to a growing list of Fekir admirers and the club have been following his exploits in France with keen interest.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri are keen to take the Frenchman to the San Siro at the end of the season and are prepared to place a bid of around €7m on Lyon’s table.

Inter are aware that the likes of Arsenal might outmuscle them financially in the chase for Fekir if they don’t act fast on their interest.
