Liverpool have confirmed the loaning of midfielder Jordan Lussey to Championship side Bolton Wanderers.

Lussey, 20, has officially linked up with Neil Lennon's men on a deal running through until the end of the season and will bid to help Bolton pull further up the Championship table.

A midfielder by trade, Lussey will hope to earn regular first team football with the Trotters and increase his first team experience ahead of returning to Anfield in the summer.

Bolton currently find themselves sitting 17th in the Championship table with 45 points from 39 games.

The Trotters, who faced Liverpool in this season's FA Cup, have a further seven games to play before the season ends.
