England national team manager Roy Hodgson has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane will be making his Three Lions debut in their upcoming games this month.

Kane has earned a senior national squad spot on the back of his prolific goalscoring for Spurs this season. He has scored a remarkable 29 goals in all competitions and assisted a further five this term.




The 21-year-old is a member of the England squad which are due to take on Lithuania in their Euro 2016 qualifier tomorrow and their subsequent friendly against Italy on 31st March.

Hodgson is impressed with what he has seen of the youngster during their training sessions and has said that the 21-year old has done his chances of an England debut in the upcoming two games no harm, insisting that Kane will earn his first cap this month.
 


However, the 67-year-old refused to divulge any further details regarding when Kane will feature in the England line-up.

“We are very happy with Harry Kane”, Hodgson was quoted as saying by the BBC.

“He has done well all week, and has not in any way damaged his chances of playing in the full senior team.

“I'm pretty sure over the course of these two games he will make his full debut, but I'm not prepared to give my selection away and when that is people will have to wait and see."
