Bayern Munich linked Torino full-back Matteo Darmian has stressed that he is not concentrating on the speculation surrounding his future.

The 25-year-old right-back is enjoying a fine season at Torino and has also made a mark for the Italian national team with assured performances for Antonio Conte’s team in recent Euro 2016 qualifiers and international friendlies.

Darmian’s performances in Turin haven’t gone unnoticed and it emerged last week that German champions Bayern Munich are tracking the full-back with an eye on a move for him in the summer.

The Italian international has refused to add more fuel to the speculation and declined against making any comments on his future at the club.

He added that he just wants to concentrate on his performances for the Azzurri and is looking to end the season strongly at Torino.

“The rumours about my future are nice but this is not the time to talk”, Darmian said in a press conference yesterday.

“Now I just want to do well with the national team and then finish the season on a good note at Torino.”
