Arsenal and Liverpool have been placed on alert with the news that Barcelona are willing to part with Pedro Rodriguez.

Barcelona are in the midst of planning for next season and, according to Catalan daily Sport, have decided that Pedro can leave the club in the summer if he chooses.

The Catalan giants are happy for Pedro to make the call on his own future in the summer, though he will only be sold if a club are willing to pay €20m for his services.

If Pedro decides to stay put, Barcelona are happy for him to see out the remaining year of his contract.

All eyes are now on the forward's suitors, a group which is thought to contain both Arsenal and Liverpool, the pair having been consistently linked with the Spaniard.
