Italian giants Inter had scouts at France's friendly against Denmark last night to take in the performance of Arsenal target Nabil Fekir.

The attacking midfielder, who snubbed interest from Algeria to pledge his future to France at international level recently, has been in superb form for Lyon in Ligue 1 this term.

He came off the bench for France in their clash against Denmark, which ended 2-0 to Les Bleus through goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Olivier Giroud.

Fekir is wanted by Inter boss Roberto Mancini as a summer signing and according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Nerazzurri had scouts in attendance at the match to run the rule over the Lyon man.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is determined to keep hold of the attacking midfielder however and Inter may face a tough task in persuading him to part with Fekir.

And if Aulas has a change of heart, Arsene Wenger's Arsenal could become involved in the race, having been strongly linked with the 21-year-old.

Fekir has scored eleven goals in Ligue 1 for Lyon so far this season, along with providing his team-mates with ten assists.

The Frenchman's current contract with Lyon runs until 2019.
