Luis Suarez has promised that if he ever returns to play in the Premier League it will only be for former club Liverpool.

Suarez moved to Barcelona from Liverpool last summer after notching 31 goals in 33 Premier League games last season to power the Reds' title challenge.

He was back at Anfield yesterday to take part in an All-Star Charity Game organised by Liverpool legends Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.

The match ended as a 2-2 draw, with Suarez coming on as a second half substitute.

And after the match he insisted that if he ever heads back to play his football in England, it will only be to pull on a Liverpool shirt once again.

Suarez told LFC TV: "You never know in football what the future holds, but if I ever play in England again I will play for the Liverpool team and not another team.

"I've missed the fans. They know they are in my heart."

Suarez was just one of a number of starts to take part in the charity game with John Terry, Xabi Alonso, Thierry Henry, Fernando Torres, Harry Kewell, Didier Drogba, Mario Balotelli, Luis Garcia and Craig Bellamy amongst those taking part in the event at Anfield.
