Mesut Ozil feels he is on the same wavelength as Arsenal team-mates Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez.

The German midfielder has been a key man for Arsenal since his return from injury and the Gunners have won eleven of the 13 games in which he has played since he regained fitness.

Ozil has worked well with Cazorla and Sanchez, causing trouble for opposing defences and always appearing to be on the same wavelength as the Spaniard and the Chilean.

Ozil explained to his club's site: "[Santi and Alexis] are the type of players that, like myself, think before things happen on the pitch.

"Especially with Santi, you can see that he’s playing such an outstanding season for the team and he’s so important for us.

"[My partnership with Sanchez is] progressing really well, and you can see that in our matches. He’s really important for the team and that shows with the goals – he’s scored a lot of goals this season.

"You can see it in training too – I look for him when I have the ball because he makes those runs. For that reason, we’re happy to have a player like that in our ranks", the Germany international added.

Arsenal could yet win silverware this season and are in the semi-final of the FA Cup, while in the Premier League they sit seven points behind leaders Chelsea, but still have to play the Blues before the season ends.

Ozil won the FA Cup with Arsenal last season, his first campaign with the Gunners following a club-record £42.5m move from Real Madrid.

He also collected the Community Shield with Arsenal at the start of the current campaign.
