Stephan El Shaarawy's agent has insisted that his client will not leave AC Milan to join another Italian club, while admitting that sides from abroad are interested in the forward.

El Shaarawy has been linked with leaving the Rossoneri in recent months, amid speculation that Genoa, Udinese and Torino are keen on signing the forward from Filippo Inzaghi's men.

But the Italy international is not interested in leaving AC Milan for another Italian side, his brother Manuel El Shaarawy, who also acts as his agent, explained, while revealing that there is also interest in his brother from abroad.

"To my knowledge, [Adriano] Galliani [AC Milan CEO] has not proposed Genoa to Stephan, nor have I received from [Enrico] Preziosi [Genoa president] and Galliani proposals to take my brother to Genoa", Manuel told Milan News.

"I can exclude a move within Italy this summer. There were reports on Udinese and Torino in January, but just like the Rossoblu, all moves can be ruled out. Stephan will not go to another Italian team.

"Going abroad? I received some proposals, even in January.

"Stephan feels at home at Milan and does not feel the need to leave. He has a good relationship with the fans, with the club and with his team-mates."

El Shaarawy has seen his season interrupted by injury and has made just 15 appearances in Serie A for AC Milan this term, scoring just once.

The 22-year-old, who at one point was tipped to form a fearsome partnership with Mario Balotelli at AC Milan, has been linked with a number of clubs in recent years, a group which includes Arsenal, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.
