Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is delighted with the way his tenure has been turning out at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Modric joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2012 form English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur and he has gone on to become an important member of the side since his arrival in Madrid.

During his time at the club the Croat has gone on to win the Copa del Rey and the Club World Cup and most importantly he was instrumental in helping Carlo Ancelotti’s side win the Champions League last summer, thus winning Real Madrid their much coveted tenth European Cup.

The Croatia international’s current campaign has been marred by a hamstring injury which has seen him miss almost four months of first team action, but much to the delight of the Bernabeu faithful, he made a return earlier this month.

Known for pulling the strings from his midfield position with panache, Modric is delighted with the way his time at Real Madrid has turned out, saying that he has never felt more comfortable at any club as he does with his current side.
