Paris Saint-Germain are aware that they will need to sell players in the summer to finance a deal for Manchester United target and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

At 22, the French midfielder is an object of great desire for the PSG hierarchy and they are keeping a close eye on the developments at the Juventus Stadium with keen interest.

However, with Manchester United and Real Madrid willing to reach deep into their pockets for Pogba, PSG are aware they have a financial mountain to climb if they want to bring the midfielder to the Parc des Princes in the summer.

UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations have deeply affected the club’s spending capacity and though they have the finances to bankroll any deal for Pogba, the rules have put restrictions on the amount they can fork out in the transfer market.

Therefore according to L’Equipe, PSG are looking to sell a number of players at the end of the season before they can think about working on a deal for the Juventus midfielder.

PSG are aware that they need to make money by allowing several players to leave at the end of the season as that might allow them to cobble together an offer for Pogba, which would give stiff competition to Manchester United and Real Madrid for his signature.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona are also expected to make their presence felt in the summer if Juventus finally decide to let the Frenchman leave Turin.
