PSV Eindhoven coach Phillip Cocu has revealed his belief that Manchester United-linked Memphis Depay is on his way out of the club this summer.

Though his agent claimed earlier today that there has been no contact from Manchester United or Louis van Gaal for his client, Depay has been heavily linked with a move to the English club since last summer.

Depay’s performances in PSV’s title charge this season have further grown his reputation around Europe and Van Gaal is believed to be plotting a move for the Dutch international at the end of the season.

It has been speculated that with his growing reputation, PSV will find it hard to keep the winger at Philips Stadion beyond the summer and Cocu believes the chances are that Depay will indeed leave the club.

“Yes, I believe he will leave PSV at the end of the season”, the Dutchman was quoted as saying by German magazine Sport Bild.

Depay has been in fine form for PSV this season and his 17 league goals have played a major role in powering them towards the Eredivise title, breaking Ajax’s four-season long stranglehold on the Dutch top flight.

The Dutchman is a key member of the Guus Hiddink’s Netherlands side too and at 21, already has 13 international caps to his name.
