Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has revealed that he is motivated to score more goals for Mauricio Pochettino’s side as they approach the final few games of the season, but will not reveal his personal goal target.

Eriksen landed at White Hart Lane at the start of the 2013/14 season from Dutch giants Ajax under then-manager Andre Villas-Boas and he has gone on to become a central figure at the club.

In his 30 Premier League appearances this term, the attacking midfielder has scored nine times and his two assists have played their part in helping Spurs’ reach seventh spot in the table as they attempt to secure a spot in the Champions League next season.

The Denmark international played his 50th international match as the Danes defeated Jurgen Klinsmann’s United States 3-2 in a friendly last month.

Eriksen is determined to add to his tally of nine league goals as Spurs begin the last stretch of their campaign with a clash against Burnley this Sunday.
