AS Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has indicated that the club are not too keen to have Radamel Falcao back at the Stade Louis II at the end of the season.

Falcao joined Manchester United on loan for the season last summer from Monaco, but with only four goals this term, the Colombian has so far failed to justify his top billing at the club.

Manchester United have the option to make the move permanent for a transfer fee of around €53m at the end of the season, but the club are yet to make a decision on his future at Old Trafford.

Whatever Manchester United decide, his parent club have indicated that they are not too keen to have him back at Monaco because of his financial situation, with a salary of €14m per year on his deal in the principality.

“With regards to financial fair play, the less we spend, the better”, the Monaco vice-president told L’Equipe.
