The agent of Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto has evoked interest from English giants Liverpool in his client and denied that a deal with any club has been concluded for the custodian.

Neto has already informed Fiorentina that he will not renew his contract at the club; it expires at the end of the season and the Brazilian shot-stopper will be on the move.

Neto has been consistently linked with Italian champions Juventus, where it is thought the Bianconeri view him as the long-term successor to veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

But Neto's agent, Stefano Castanga, claims that his client has not yet agreed a move to any club and listed Liverpool as one of the sides who want to snap up the Brazilian.

Castanga explained to Gazzetta TV: "The only thing that's official now is that Neto isn't staying in Florence.

"Since 1st February, when we could talk to other clubs, we've been looking at the offers which are interesting for the boy, from England, Germany and Spain, as well as Italy.

"In England one of those is Liverpool and there is also a top Spanish side interested in him.

"Right now the boy must make a well considered decision for his future."

Neto has made 20 appearances in Serie A for Fiorentina so far this season, keeping eight clean sheets in the process.

Last term he appeared in 35 of Fiorentina's 38 Serie A matches, with 12 clean sheets to his name.
