Italian Serie A giants AC Milan and Inter are taking a close look at Javier Hernandez, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Milan duo are keen on the Mexico international striker, who looks set to be available when the transfer window swings back open in the summer.

Hernandez is under contract to Manchester United, but currently in the midst of a season-long loan with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The striker has struggled for first team football at the Bernabeu however and recently expressed his frustration, having found himself in the same situation with Manchester United last term.

Hernandez is looking for a club at which he can enjoy regular first team football next season and both AC Milan and Inter are eyeing offering him a home.
