Italian super agent Mino Raiola has termed Everton striker Romelu Lukaku the Paul Pogba of strikers and believes that he will soon play for a big club, namechecking Manchester United and Manchester City.

Raiola, who can already count the likes of Pogba, Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic amongst his clients, has recently taken charge of Lukaku’s career.

The Belgian joined Everton on a permanent deal from Chelsea last summer after spending a season on loan at Goodison Park and though he has failed to replicate his league form from the previous campaign, Lukaku is still a big part of Roberto Martinez’s future plans.

However, Raiola feels the 21-year-old is destined for bigger things in the future. Comparing him with highly-rated Juventus midfielder Pogba, the Italian indicated that Lukaku is one of the most talented strikers in the world.

In what will come as bad news for Martinez, Raiola believes Lukaku will eventually move away from Everton and play for one of the marquee European clubs as he is destined to become one of the best strikers in the world.

“If everyone says Paul Pogba is a future world star, then Romelu Lukau is the Paul Pogba of strikers”, the Italian told Sudpresse.

“Yes, he will become one of Europe’s top forwards”, added Raiola.

“Later, he will play for a top club like Paris Saint-Germain, either of the Manchester teams, Barcelona or Bayern Munich.”

Lukaku has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season for Everton and has a contract until 2019 with the club.
